The attribution of rust responsibility for stainless steel pipe is very complicated. According to my 25 years of experience in stainless steel, the occurrence of rust is nothing more than the following situations:
1 The responsibility of the steel mill
Steel strip peeling trachoma, etc. will cause rust. Substandard materials will cause rust.
2 Responsibilities of the Calendering Plant
The annealed steel strip will turn black, and the perforation of the furnace will cause rust due to ammonia leakage.
3 Responsibilities of the Pipe Factory
Pipe mill welds are rough ground, and black lines can cause rust.
4 Responsibilities of the dealer
Distributors do not pay attention to the protection of the pipes during transportation, mix the pipes with chemical products that will contaminate and corrode, or transport in rainy days and let the two water penetrate into the packaging film, which will cause rust.

5 Responsibilities of the Processor
When the fabricator cuts stainless steel or iron when installing the fabricated product, splashing iron filings on the surface of the steel pipe can cause rust.
6 Responsibility for Environmental Use
Users in high pollution areas (such as seaside, chemical plants, brick factories, electroplating and pickling plants, water plants, sewage treatment plants, etc.) or cleaning stainless steel with corrosive chemical products will cause rust.
Therefore, very skilled technical personnel are required to conduct in-depth investigation and research, make a reasonable division of responsibilities, and who should be responsible for the problems, so that it is reasonable.
Do not let steel mills, or pipe mills, or distributors, or processors, or users all take responsibility for compensation!
